Fred and Barbara Barr established the company in 1953 as Fred Barr Realty Company. In 1992, he sold majority ownership of the business to Peggy and Hal DeGray. As Galion’s oldest real estate company, Fred Barr Realty strategically partnered with HER in 2000 to enhance the company’s technology, training, and client services capability. The result of this partnership is evident in our superior sales performance and public service to the local communities we serve.
In 2004 HER Fred Barr Realty joined Real Living, a merger of HER, which is now the 4th largest company in the country. Real Living Her Fred Barr Realty is the areas foremost leader in real estate services. Celebrating 53 years in business we maintain one of the largest group of Realtors in the area to maximize their sales advantage. Peggy DeGray is the principle broker and manager. Peggy and every member on the Real Living HER Fred Barr Realty team is a member of NAR, OAR, the Galion and Mansfield Boards of Realtors including Mid Ohio MLS.
